Also, the total running routes of these public buses in Beijing have already been increased from previous 27 to 65 from 1956 to the end of 1966, and they have already been increased for 2.4 times, and the total number of the running public buses in Beijing was also developed to 1,125 vehicles, and it have already been increased for 1.6 times, and the carrying capacity of these public buses in Beijing has reached to 5.1 million people, and it has already been increased for 1.2 times.

In order to adapt to the new circumstance of structure development of public transportation systems and comprehensive public transportation systems in Beijing, public transportation bureau of Beijing has already changed its original name into the public transportation total company in August,1980. After that, the public transportation systems in Beijing have already been well developed and also established professional carrying fields and professional insurance and repairing fields in 1989, which made the carrying and operating as well as the insurance and repairing of these public electric buses in Beijing lead the specialized and professional as well as regional management roads.
