Not Everybody Is Suitable To Eat Tofu

As is known to all, the nutritional value of tofu is too high. However, no matter how good things are not suitable for everybody. In some special cases, tofu should not be eaten too much.

The content of protein in Tofu and tofu products is higher than soybeans and tofu protein is complete protein, which not only contains the eight essential amino acids the human body need, but also the ratio is close to human body needs. In addition, Tofu also contains fat, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals. It sounds a kind of high value products.

Tofu can cause indigestion. Tofu is rich in protein, which not only hinders the body’s absorption of iron, but also triggers uncomfortable symptoms such as diarrhoea and abdominal distension because of indigestion at protein.

Tofu can cause renal dysfunction. in normal circumstances, vegetable protein is finally changed into rubbish contains nitrogen and excreted through the kidneys. when people get older, the ability of excreting waste for kidneys is decreased, eating too much time at this time is likely to produce more nitrogenous waste, then increase the burden on the kidneys, which may lead to renal failure and harmful to health.

All in all, the elderly and patients who have renal disease, iron deficiency anemia, gout and atherosclerosis should control the consumption of Tofu.
