In 2016, a full-size luxury car named as Cadillac CT6 was released by Cadillac, and it was for sale in the U.S. and China at the beginning, and later being sold in Europe, Korea, Japan, and the Middle East. However, in 2020, the CT6 was discontinued in the U.S. due to the poor sales status, but it is still produced and sold in China up to the present. According to the statistics, total 97,011 Cadillac CT6 cars were sold in China from 2016 to 2021.
In diecast car models market, we can only get two 1/18 scale Cadillac CT6 diecast models including 2016 edition and 2019 edition with a facelift.
It is the replica of 2016 Cadillac CT6 being produced in China by Shanghai General Motors joint venture. Two different colors including white and gray are available, and it is the only Cadillac CT6 diecast model in white released, therefore the price of white CT6 model is higher than the same model in gray. Like most 1/18 scale models, there are many working parts such as car doors, hood and boot.
In 2019, Cadillac CT6 with new facelift was released, later its related diecast car model was available in the market. Different with 2016 Cadillac CT6 model, only one color in gray was produced, and buyers have no other choice.
