We have introduced Cadillac Lyriq SUV and its related diecast models including both 1/18 and 1/64 scale models in previous post, Cadillac Lyriq Diecast Models at Different Scales for Collectors, and we mentioned that Cadillac Lyriq was the first fully electric vehicle by Cadillac. And now the second fully electric vehicle by Cadillac with nameplate Optiq was released in recent in 2024.

Cadillac Optiq which is positioned below Cadillac Lyriq was released in China in late 2023 as the 2024 model year, and manufactured by joint venture enterprise SAIC-GM, it will be exported to North America market in 2024.

With the release of Cadillac Optiq, its related diecast model is available for both collectors and car owner, and it is a 1/18 scale model in bright red color. Picture is displayed here.

Like most 1/18 scale car models, there are lots of working parts such as opening car doors, hood and boot, in addition, there are a few features for this new arrival Cadillac model, for example, it can be charged and both sound and flashing light functions are available powered by the electricity, and the light can last about 6 hours.

This is the only Cadillac Optiq car model released until now, and I am not sure whether 1/43 and 1/64 scale Optiq will be released in the future, don’t worry, we will update this post if new Cadillac Optiq diecat models are available.
