Three Grinding Knowledge About Saw Blade You Know

As you know, in order to get top quality cutting effect and meanwhile lengthen the working life of circular saw blade, it should be grinded in time with right ways, by this way, it is beneficial to its using. In the following article, more information about saw blade grinding are introduced to my readers.

Firstly, it is important to choose right grinding procedure. Generally speaking, sharpening tool can be setted into two different procedures, including the coarse grinding and accurate grinding. According to the different saw blades, they should be selected the right procedures. However, no matter which kinds of saw blades, when grinding the front rake angle, all of them are recommended to use accurate grinding procedure.

Secondly, grinding distance. No matter the location at saw blade for being grinded, grinding distance is one of the important factors you have to consider carefully. As usual, the suitable distance would be that the grinding wheel should be longer or shorter than saw blade about just 1 mm, otherwise on its tooth surface, it is easy to lead to two side cutting edges.

Thirdly, sometimes the cooling liquid would be used during grinding process, and its final grinding effect is greatly dependent on the grinding fluid. During grinding process, there would be lots of Tungsten, cobalt and diamond grinding wheel powder produced on cutting tool surface, if it is not cleaned in time, the cutting tool’s degree of finish could not be reflected, at the same time, if it is not cold enough, alloy is easy to be burned. By the way, please not to forget cleaning grinding wheel air holes.

Fourthly, pay attention on the matrix and its thickness and the inner diameter tolerance, by this way, you would be careful that whether there is something congenital defects, for example, if the matrix is easy to be out of shape seriously and easily, if its thickness at different part is not the same, if the tolerance of inner diameter is too much larger, no matter which kinds of grinding equipment you used, there would be grinding error, which can not be avoided.

If matrix is easy to be out of shape, there would be deviation on its two deflection angles, at the same time, if its thickness is not the same, there would be deviation at both its relief angle and cutting edge front rake angle, if the tolerance is too large, both the saw blade quality and its accuracy would be affected severely.
