As for the important saw teeth angles, you should not neglect these three angles, including front rake angle, showed as γ in saw blade drawing, relief angle, showed as α, and angle of wedge, showed as β. Different angles play the different roles during the process.

Front rake angle is the cutting-in angle of saw blade, as usual, the larger front rake angle, the faster cutting result, and it would be between 10 degree and 15 degree. The relief angle is the included angle between saw teeth and the finished cutting parts, its main role is to avoid the friction between saw teeth and finished cutting parts, the larger relief angle, the smaller force of friction and cutting surface would be more smooth. The relief angle of cemented carbide circular would be about 15 degree. Finally, the wedge angle is ramification of front rake angle and relief angle, it should not be too small, otherwise there would be higher cutting temperature.
