One day I was at home, playing ambulance toys with my little brother. Then I heard a real ambulance roaring far and near. A moment later, a screeching sound came to my room. Then a burst of cries full of agony and sorrow frequented my ears. As I live by a hospital, such a scene was not fresh to me. Another soul was sent to God, though I. And the rest keep living on with the memory for the gone.
All I want to express is life is short, and it would be shorter if you take life for granted and just regard it as a gift by god. But hell knows if there is any a God! For me, life is not only a gift but also a sort of responsibility you have to take for your whole family. Take good care of your own life is a must to fulfill such obligations which tops all the liabilities you are taking in the family. Thus your dear parents won’t live on their nerves when you are out in the night. They won’t even hold hearts full of worries when you are walking across the streets where many a car shuttling to and fro. Their minds would be set at ease when you are driving to workplaces or some certain holiday resorts. No accidents, no ambulance alarming and no cry of grief would ever appear in their lives.
All the responsibilities you need to take is to take good care of your own life. You need to cherish it, make it precious, make it outlast time, and make it a responsibility of love for your beloved ones. I have seen enough grief-stricken faces whose tears were already dried for consistent whimpering at their lost ones and their unknown future.
So don’t take your life for granted any more. It is a responsibility which deserves much more attention and serious attitude.
