As you know, the quality of saw blade matrix is closely related to the saw blade itself quality, therefore when buying TCT saw blade, you should check its matrix. At the same time, you should know the advantages and disadvantages of different kinds of matrix.

Carbon tool steel
More carbon elements are contained in such carbon tool steel and its thermal conductivity is very high. However, under the high temperature, about 200 Celsius degree to 250 Celsius degree, both its hardness and abrasion resistance would be reduced greatly, meanwhile, after being heat treatment, it is easy to be out of shape and what’s worse, it is likely to crack.

Alloy tool steel
Compared with carbon tool steel, alloy tool steel has better performance on its heat resistance, abrasive resistance and processing ability. Under high temperature about 300 Celsius degree and 400 Celsius degree, it only will be out of shape and it is the main raw material for top grade cemented carbide circular saw blade.

Thirdly, high speed tool steel
Such steel has good performance of harden ability, hardness and rigidity, it is not easy to be out of shape and it is one of super high strength steel.
